Eating & Drinking
Our menus at Hibiscus House are created and prepared to use the fresh local produce of the Gambia. We offer a combination of African and International cuisine, and can cater for most special dietary requirements and requests.
Breakfast
Each morning a Continental African or Cooked Breakfast is served between 8am and 10.30am. Breakfast is included in the price of your room and for early risers, who are on an excursion, a take away breakfast can be arranged.
• Fresh seasonal fruits (mangos, oranges, papaya, passion fruit, pineapples, bananas and water melon) • Local fruit juice • Chakry (African style yogurt) • Tapalapa (locally baked bread) with Peanut Butter and Jams (produced in The Gambia) • Tea and Coffee • Cooked Breakfast (eggs & bacon, omelette or boiled eggs)
Lunch & Evening Meal
We are able to offer lunch and evening meals in either one of our two restaurants.
Hibiscus House Meals can be enjoyed at the poolside, in the bantaba or in Hibiscus House.
